The Power of Shame!

Shame is a painful and excruciating emotion caused by a strong sense of embarrassment, guilt, disgrace and also other painful and sad stuff!

The 'Spotlight of Shame'

The effects of shame are devastating!

A simple spill of ice cream could cost you the future of your life in public!
It will devour your pride and tear off whatever sense of confidence left in you.

Shame is the root of loneliness and isolation in life!

There are many common incidents of shame such as calling someone by mistake.

Shame for animals?
The Elizabethan collar plays a role in the film "Up" by Pixar Animation Studios, distributed by Walt Disney Pictures, where it is used as a public humiliation device for dogs called the "Cone of Shame".

Have you ever wondered why Dracula wears a cape with such big collars?

It is probably due to an incident happened long ago when Dracula bit a man and it was misinterpreted by some people which brought shame to Dracula.

By the time Dracula tried to explain what happened, he was already under the 'Spotlight of Shame' and it was too late.

Dracula was overpowered by shame and he decided to disappear from the sights of the public since then.

However. there are times when you can save yourself from shame and divert the shame to someone else.
Lets just say you are hanging out with some friends. Suddenly, you feel like farting.

And you could not hold your fart anymore. So, you are forced to release the 'bomb of death', the silent killer. So what do you do?

Act like you just noticed something alarming.

Pick a victim, maybe the person beside you, and stare angrily at him for about 3 seconds. That will create an illusion which passes the fart ownership to the person beside you.

Act like you can't take it anymore and create a big reaction. Your other friends will begin to notice the foul scent.

Run away when your friends start to panic and when they are about to evacuate the place.

When the victim starts to realise that he is the suspected bomber, it would be too late to save himself. The 'Spotlight of Shame' has already been shone and he will be engulfed in shame.

He will try to deny, so add a finishing attack by hammering down a strong and forceful statement to lock the blame down on him. Your other friends will then be convinced that he is the person who farted and your day is saved!
